Yolanda E. Ossa-Eslait

Born in Barranquilla, raised in Bogotá but devoted to her family's hometown of Cali, Colombia. She majored in Film and Creative Writing at the University of Miami, from where she graduated in 2004 with a Bachelors of Science in Communications degree. She has worked as a producer, journalist, freelance writer and is now part of the team that puts together the Cartagena International Music Festival. She calls Bogotá her home, but travels a great deal during the year chasing after her various passions which include football (soccer), literature and film.
